Of course there was some earlier models of what a social networking site used to look like , for instance in the early ninety's there was Geocities, but was shut down in 2009. The advertisers of the 20th century are swarming to the opportunitys , through the many games ( Farmville, Vampire Wars, Etc) that reside there! Which could and maybe one big reason people come back again and again.
