Man with a Mission

Punisher is created through a great tragedy in a man life where his family was taken away from him( frank Castle). Turning his life in the direction of revenge and reason for reacting to anyone whom he regards as a villian. The Punisher is a man with little regard for sympathy and forgiveness.

What gave the Punisher so much attention in his time of introduction is that he killed most of aggressors and that is something most super heros refrained them selves from doing. Which gave his comic books a sense that children should not be reading such material, but at the time of release it got so much positvie feedback it wasnt long before it was excepted amoung the ranks of super hero readers.

As you can see that the first apprearance of the Punisher was within a spiderman issue comic and not a solo appearance which was a general idea with many comics to introduce characters this way so that its easier to see if the general audience liked what they read, and weather to see if its a good idea to add them again in the distant future,
