Billionaire Tony Stark who is Weapons Expert comes to another countries for a weapon demonstration finds himself kidnapped and held hostage to create weapons for them. In his bondage he finds himself to create a way out of his captivity. Thus Iron Man proto-Type is created to do just that. In the movie is demonstrates his concern over who handles his weaponry.Tony Stark is critically compromised in using the suit and must find an alternate energy source to undue the damage the suite causes to him.
In the realization that the weapons he ( Tony Stark) makes is what keeps the world in chaos and can only be used by him as Iron Man and the country that he swore to protect. Conflict occurs when the government wants to control Iron Man. Plus the many other super villains whom wish to harm Iron Man.
In Later Issues of Iron Man he has to unite with other heroes to defeat bigger foes in other areas of the country. Iron Mans purpose was to become a valuable asset in the making of many alliances to bring peace to the world.
